Buena Vista Pool Closed Weeks Due to Low Attendance
Buena Vista will stay closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for the rest of the summer because attendance is too low. Acting City Manager Jeff Pomerane said last week the pool was closed on those two days. He cited the need to cut expenses and that staffing lifeguards is not justified by crowd size.

Daniel Andrade 71 former Del Rio resident died in San Jose California Tuesday. Rites set in San Jose Thursday.
