Budget Surpasses 65 Million as New Funds Added
At a Thursday meeting, Keith Southerland presented a revised district budget raising total to 65,251,692 for 2002 2003. The increase of 3,102,202 came from TRS and state IFA revenues, with net zero effect from in and out IFA items. The district plans 2,493,775 from TRS contributions and notes IFA leases funded construction projects including Lonnie Green Elementary and a 29.4 million bond. Debated also was the general fund balance, with deductions tied to construction costs.

Water plant completes another day of 10 day test
