La Prensa reports Mexican officials in Juarez received word that armed men from the United States crossed the border into Mexico and moved toward Chihuahua. The group, believed to be Texas Rangers, allegedly attacked residents near Guadalupe after breaking into homes. Governor Moody said he knows of no Rangers crossing into Mexico and that any such action would be without official knowledge.
The thirty eighth annual convention of the County and District Clerks Association of Texas has programs mailed. Arch Woods of San Saba, president, says the event will be held in Del Rio on June 13 and 14.
