EDEN March 1 27 H EF Wood and B F Jacoby closed a deal purchasing the 1650 acre Lloyd place west of town. Wood bought 1000 acres including improvements and Jacoby took 6350 acres adjoining his home. Prices were 16 and 15 dollars an acre. H Spiser bought from D Marvin Rape the two section ranch six miles west of town. Karl Lapp bought the one section ranch near Menard part of the Waring estate. Mr Lapp sold the five room house on the ranch to Lee Murray who moved it to his Eden lots. Young Bill Loveless and WG Burleson leased a four section ranch from Weaver Baker. About 500 steen have been moved to the ranch 15 miles southwest of Junction. Mr and Mrs Elon Hutchison move to the Ed Martin ranch soon. Their home was sold to Dr Wo A Kelm who plans to move his family by April 1.
