In the Lower Rio Grande Valley two banded birds were found. A herring gull banded at Hat Island Wisconsin on June 29, 1934 was trapped by jetty workers. the bird’s band was traced to C. H. Wilson of Wisconsin. A duck shot near Mercedes was found to be banded by F. W. Roble of Ellinwood Kansas on February 28, 1932.
