Funeral services for Milton Hussie Winn 26 days old son of Mr and Mrs Sam Ross Winn of Dryden were held at 4 pm Wednesday at the Doran Funeral Chapel with Rev L C Beasley officiating. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery. The infant died Tuesday evening of pneumonia at his great aunt Miss Alice Cash’s home in Del Rio after illness began Sunday. Survivors include his parents a baby brother Jimmy Louis grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Paris reports France sent a note to Berlin protesting re armament and conscription and organized a conference with France Britain and Italy on the armament situation. The note condemns Germanys air force and resumption of freedom in armaments. The cabinet plans to raise Germanys Versailles treaty violation before the League council.
A strong Italian force dispatched to the Ethiopian frontier failed to capture armed groups believed Ethiopian who raided near Agable in Italian Somali land between two forts and stole 100 camels.

John V. Acrey, 31, formerly of Del Rio and brother of Mrs. John Schrier, died Tuesday in San Antonio from meningitis after several weeks of illness. Funeral held Wednesday at 4 p.m. from Riebe Undertaking. burial at Alamo Masonic Cemetery. Survivors include widow Clella Nadine Acrey, son Louis Ray Acrey, mother Mrs. L. R. Simms of Fort Stockton, three sisters and two brothers.
H H Bennett director of the Federal Soil Erosion Service warned the House public lands committee that permanent prosperity cannot be preserved over large areas of the United States if the current rapid destruction and impoverishment of prime agricultural lands by erosion continues.
Los Angeles March 20 Judge Ben Lindsey warned that marriage faces early doom in America unless science and education are used to adapt the concept to modern life. He urged turning to science religion and education to meet new social and economic conditions and favored an old fashioned marriage.

She vows to rush to Reno for a possible new marriage, while keeping her Woolworth fortune intact and denying any alimony. Hotel staff and her cousin Jimmie Donahue are among the few who see her as she remains secluded in a London hotel suite.
Regular March term of Federal Court in Del Rio adjourned late Tuesday after a session packed with immigration and tariff act cases. Judges, clerks, and officers listed. numerous defendants pled guilty or were sentenced to months in Laguna La Tuna Val Verde jail with suspensions or transfers.
