Prominent San Antonio Attorney Davis Dies After Stroke
Prominent San Antonio attorney and American Legion leader Wayne Davis 45 died after a paralytic stroke suffered Monday. He had led the National Defense Committee of the Legion and served as past commander of Alamo Post No. 2 and Texas Legion. Born in Goliad he served in World War I and later moved to San Antonio to practice law. Funeral services will be held in Goliad with Legion honors and flags at half mast across the state.
