Funeral services for Lester Lee Dyer nephew of Gordon Dyer were held Saturday afternoon in Emgle Pass. He died Friday evening after a brief illness. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Lester Dyer of Eagle Pass. A sister and a brother survive. Mr and Mrs Gordon Dyer and Mrs Jack Sailors left Del Rio at noon Saturday to attend. In other news, New York March 6 cot ton futures rose above 14 cents for the first time since August 1934, with all new crop futures above 13 cents.
