The Wichita murder of Mrs. Hen Turner involved her husband turning to an employee who confessed that Turner offered $100 to have his wife killed. The employee, Jim Stetton, says Turner owed $5 on a bill, and after the crime Turner paid $8 up front, with the remainder promised later.
The Princess Club invites children ages six to twelve to join, requiring a pledges test and home or school work before membership cards are issued. Members gain theater privileges and access to special entertainments, with Sunday school attendance encouraged.

Other permits include a 150 dollar screen porch by Herman Cadena and a 50 dollar dwelling removal for Margarito Reyes.
47 goats abandoned on a McCulloch County ranch after the thief found the animals bore fire brands on nose and ear. Rangers had urged ranchers to use fire branding to deter theft, citing reduced theft risk compared with paint or ear markings.

Five youths accused of firing iron staples into houses in San Felipe were summoned to city court for investigation. Police say the group drove at night terrorizing residents by throwing staples through windows. Several minors were reported hurt.
