A Dallas Fort Worth motor bus carrying seven passengers was injured when it struck a cow and overturned on a roadside near Handley. The driver and injured persons reported the cow appeared at the scene too late to avoid the collision.
Del Rio residents are invited to a luncheon honoring Postmaster General James A Farley in San Antonio on March 24. The event, to be held at the new Federal Building, will be dedicated by Farley. Reservations are managed by the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce via Ro William Archer and close at noon March 22. plates cost 1.25 dollars. Del Rio Postmaster Ray Ross and Ulric Ross, president of the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce, plan to attend.
