Royse City men Royse Farrar 35 Bill Lindsay 30 and Joe Adams 24 died in a head on collision on the highway near Rockwall Fate area. Wayton Houser escaped with minor injuries. The meat company truck driver was not seriously hurt in the wreck five miles southwest of here.
German brewers fear Japanese beer gaining export share with 1934 figures at 4,567,200 compared with Japan's 792,000 in 1931 and about 1,000,000 last year. The Japanese product is said to be sold at prices barely covering bottling costs.

The storm added deaths across several states with totals reaching 19 in Colorado and seven in Wyoming, while Nebraska reported extensive property losses and livestock losses after floods and storms.

The four day event closed amid high water and threatening weather with crowds daily and various exhibition acts by Louis Tindall and others.
Volney Davis 35, linked to the Barker-Karpis gang and suspected in the George Weyerhaeuser kidnapping, pleaded guilty in St Paul to his role in the Edward G. Bremer abduction after being brought by airplane under heavy federal guard. Sentencing expected Friday or Saturday.
Washington reports Fort D. A. Russell at Marfa will be re garrisoned with Field Artillery after September 1, 1935. The plan assigns Regimental HQ, Service Battery, and the 77th Field Artillery components with eight 155 millimeter howitzers and a total force of 22 officers and 572 enlisted men including support detachments.

San Augustine on June 3 reports five inmates escaped from the county jail. Sheriff W B Worsham said two of the escapees were charged with murder. A welded bar was pried loose and a prisoner crawled through the hole to obtain a key. He suggested outside help aided the breakout.
A San Felipe mother of six tells Judge Lochabay on Monday that her husband beat her after drinking mescal at friends in Villa Acuna. She says eldest daughter, 16, is dying. the couple's financial strain includes relief rolls and wageless shack living. He was fined $12.70, to be paid $2 weekly.
