Last Rites for Mrs Gunnarson Held Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs C W Doc Gunnarson 34 were held at her uncle L D Brauer’s home on Nicholson Street with Rev Moore of Eagle Pass officiating and Rev Black of Del Rio offering prayer. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery under Doran Funeral Home supervision. Mrs Gunnarson died at her Eagle Pass home after months of illness. She was born in Del Rio and lived there most of her life except for schooling in San Antonio and a 1918 Phoenix marriage to C W Gunnarson before returning to Del Rio and later moving to Eagle Pass. Survivors include her husband two daughters Mary Jean 11 and Betty 2 6 months mother Mrs Mary Graham Del Rio two sisters Mrs Robert Hudson Carrizo Springs and Mrs Dora Stratly Phoenix Ariz pallbearers Autrey Walker Roger Gillis Henry Horn T B Cobb Amos Humphreys and Judge Roger Thurmond.
