LUBBOCK July 14 4 First request to officials of Texas Tech technological College to trade on farm produce for tuition for the 1932 33 term was received by E L Dohonce Registrar from a woman in New Mexico. She said her son had graduated from high school and she wanted him to attend college. She offered pinto beans corn and other produce in exchange for tuition the registrar declined the proposal. Last year a New Mexico youth traded a truck load of pinto beans for three months board at a local student boarding house. Another student gave riding lessons on her herd of horses she brought here with her.
