The project, at a total cost of 150000 dollars, funds split between Federal and State governments, with grading let to James Spencer and Son Construction Company of Dublin for 88094 dollars and local labor used. The bridge sites are Devil's River Castle Canyon and California Creek along the Borderway route from east of Devil's River to 12 miles south of Comstock, a 76 mile stretch.
