Dr. J. R. Brinkley announced at the Chamber of Commerce banquet that XER Villa Acuna plans a third tower to raise power from 80 000 to 150 000 watts. Construction will start soon, with 70 000 extra watts expected to be ready by March to improve summer reception amid unfavor able conditions. The station, once at 75 000 watts, has drawn about 30 000 letters weekly seeking information.

Long Gravity Tunnel Opened Near San Pedro
