Two Convicted In Court Here Go To Prison
Two Val Verde County prisoners with penitentiary sentences from the last session of 63rd District Court were sent to San Antonio Saturday to be delivered to State officers for delivery to Huntsville. Deputy Sheriff A E Steinmetz escorted Jim Pryor and Lawrence Cox alias Lawrence Hunt to San Antonio for transfer. Cox received a two year term for car theft. Pryor a four year term for burglary with parole revoked. On Friday Louisiana officers took charge of J Galbraith the hot check artist who was held in Del Rio on worthless check charges and was captured at Uvalde after a sheriff’s chase. He was wanted in Louisiana on similar charges.
