After a tense City Hall meeting, Del Rio Volunteer Fire Department re elected five officers and added two company captains. Services for Irving Held This Morning
Funeral services for Douglas Irving 34 of 100 Converse Street were held at Doran Funeral Home with Rev James F Black officiating. Irving shot Sunday while attempting to remove a lodged cartridge from a small caliber rifle. He had lived in Del Rio 16 months and worked as warehouse keeper for Texas Gas Utilities Company.
