Funeral services for Charles Frank Dee Perkins, 54, were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. from Doran Funeral Home with Rev. fhas Nixon of First Methodist Church officiating. Interment followed in Westlawn Cemetery. Perkins died from exposure after being forced to swim from a stranded boat near the Rio Grande River 65 miles south of Sanderson. He is survived by a daughter Mrs Gordon Smith of Del Rio, a son Leonard Perkins of Pecos, his mother Mrs M E Beckett of Del Rio, half brother Lollie Beckett of Arizona, and foster brother Bert Beckett of Pandale.
