Austin December 16 A forecast of a bountiful game era for Texas wildlife came from William J Tucker executive secretary of the Game Fish and Oyster Commission. He cited improved ranges deer and turkey conditions drouth relief conservation education and stricter wardens. He noted fewer doves and ducks killed due to federal regulations and said next year may see larger deer turkey and quail distributions aided by new hatcheries and a Northern mall r moued bass breed stock.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p m in the Doran Funeral Chapel for Mrs Anna Buescher 77 with Rev G Robert Forrester officiating Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery under Doran Funeral Home direction She died Saturday at 6 p m after several weeks illness in the home of her daughter Hattie Mills 601 Guiner Street Born near Ellinger Texas October 2 1858 she married Andrew Burtschel in 1878 later wed Henry Buescher in 1893 He died in 1922 Survivors include daughters Hattie Mills and J C Sarrazen a brother Max Schobel seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren Pallbearers listed.

Lloyd Golden Reid aged 61 of Del Rio died Sunday evening in Little Rock Arkansas. He had been seriously ill for six months and was en route to Rose Bud Arkansas when he passed. A. Batot received a telegram from M. M. Reid stating the death. He came to Dallas for hospital treatment December 5. Reid was a shoemaker and partnered with A. Batot in 1920. His wife died in 1921. Funeral services will be in Rose Bud on Tuesday. M. M. Reid survives alone.
East Texas delegation pressed for higher railroad commission allowables as November estimates show 14000 to 20000 barrels daily in hot oil. Tyler engineer J S Hudnall cited pipeline scout data. subpoenas issued by Chairman Thompson. Hudnall named Charles Bradley Tyler Texas Company scout and said scouting services run by Howard Mathews Longview and G E Wimberly Kilgore.
As Chiang Kai-shek took premiership, Japanese forces extended into North China. Thousands of Chinese students clashed with police near the Gate, injuring about 60. Rioters defied police fire and hoses, calling a national student strike. In Kalgan, Japanese troops posted bayonets and machine guns around the railroad station, tightening control of key railway yards.
