Salome Aries is held in the county jail at Crockett awaiting charges in the death of J. C. Harp. Authorities say the suspect faces legal action stemming from the fatal incident in Crockett County.
Mexican suspect Guerra is jailed in Crockett County awaiting trial for a murder linked to the 1936 Harp case. Authorities say six to seven locals identified him by a facial scar. the Mexican government will provide defense counsel. The investigation recalls a Texas cattle-ranch killing that sparked a large manhunt.
Miss Alma Johnigan daughter of Mr and Mrs W M Johnigan of Ozona suffered four fractured ribs. Frank James an Ozona store employee received a slightly fractured skull and facial and body cuts and bruises in an automobile accident at Long Beach California. Both have visited Del Rio frequently.
Speed D T 44 a Sonora and Sutton county resident for 13 years died Saturday morning at his home after a four day illness with a heart disorder. He became ill Tuesday and his condition grew worse until death.

Immigration authorities held Charlie for investigation at Jacksonville.

South ern Pacific officials say tramps will not ride outbound freights from Del Rio. About 15 hoboes kicked off a freight Monday, with another batch removed Sunday from a westbound train. Residents report growing nuisance in North Heights and along San Felipe Creek as police respond to sightings of naked swimming hoboes fleeing the area.

Concrete work to begin soon on a nine foot deep oval pool at Moore's Park. Excavation is done and pouring should start shortly. The pool features center diving area, shallower wading end for toddlers, and a new lighting system. It will be the first municipal pool of its kind in Texas.
