SAN ANGELO August 28 An average price of 36 and 15 respectively was paid for 215 registered rams and 45 ewes auctioned here recently. The animals were sold by W P Folsom of Pilot Rock Oregon. J W Merrill of Fort Davis paid the top ram price of 92 50 Willis Burke of Merizon paid 85 each for three rams and H J Decker of Menard paid 85 for one.

Columbus reports Governor Davey authorized extradition of Virgil Effinger to Michigan on criminal syndicalism charges related to Black Legion activities. Effinger, named as national commander, is currently missing.
Toulouse dispatch notes that in Madrid, about a hundred rightists including former government leaders were executed in reprisal for fascist prisoners attempting to burn the city jail. General Oswaldo Fernando Capaz, once Morocco military commander, is listed among the victims.

In Houston on August 28, Ross Sterling former Texas governor was named in a United States District Court suit seeking to recover 240000 on bonds tied to a Memphis building he once owned. The filing claims Sterling guaranteed 1550000 in bonds, the building defaulted, and auction sale left a 196000 deficit. The suit seeks the deficit plus interest.
The TRE boys ATO IT TORee join Bluff Creek ranch to add 27000 acres to the McNealy operation in Edwards County. McNealy now runs 18000 goats on his land and will receive 2500 young goats this week to graze the new range.

Three Arkansas convicts abducted seven people during an East Texas flight. They seized C. W. Hudson his wife and a child near Paris and two couples near Clarksville, then released them at DeKalb. The fugitives continued their escape and were later identified by authorities.
