Market for lambs remains brisk across West Texas with Crockett County and Uvalde buyers leading. Prices hovered around eight and a half cents per pound as 30 head sold, while Dan Dunbar of Uvalde purchased 11 000 head via DB. Northern consignments shipped out from the Crockett County district with other sales from various ranches along the southern Pacific route.
