Drivers of trailing vehicles may be fined from 5 to 100 dollars for delaying fire equipment as a city ordinance enforces right of way for fire apparatus.

General Chapman Dies in Houston at 94

Two hundred seventy nine cases of canned meat were received Wednesday in Del Rio for distribution to the needy. These cases contain more than 8 000 pounds of canned meats packed in two pound containers and came to this county from the cannery in San Antonio. E 8 Black county relief administrator stated Thursday that the meat is to be distributed to the needy of Val Verde County. It was canned in San Antonio from government purchased cattle.
