Friday evening sale topped the event with 350 sheep and 23 goats bringing 22 099 dollars. Notable prices include a ram at 500 dollars bought by Mrs Cc B Hudspeth from Bullard Bros of California. S W Bundy paid 700 dollars for the high price. Saturday morning cleared 73 head for 2 852 dollars as the convention wound up.

Indian Medicine Man Fined After Disturbing Peace
Mike Blanc, a full-blood Cheroker Indian medicine man from Oklahoma, woke in the city jail after a complaint from a tourist camp operator. He was fined 12.70 for disturbing the peace and planned to tour with his medicine show before leaving town on the highway with his family. Lowry Warehouse Fire Destroys Furniture Stock
A Saturday night blaze destroyed the Lowry Furniture Company warehouse between 9 and 10 pm. The sheet wooden building burned from the inside, consuming all interior contents while the floor remained. Strange creature found in Devils River near Sam Smiths ranch
