Funeral services for William Bascom Smith 75 who died at a Del Rio hospital Tuesday morning will be held at 4 o clock Wednesday from the family residence on East First Street. He was a longtime Del Rio resident and former Sutton County and Val Verde County commissioner. He is survived by four children two brothers two sisters three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Services will be conducted by James F Rieck of the Church of Christ with arrangements by Doran Yates Funeral Home. Pallbearers named Homer Holman A D Watts Dave Cooper Jack Paul Jobn Lochabay and Bryan Kelley.
