National terror probe expands as Wall Street blast toll rises with 33 dead and 200 plus hurt. Authorities pursue Edward P. Fischer, a former French high commission employee, linked to warnings about September 15. Detectives search Toronto connections, a Toronto hotel guest registered as A E P Fisher, and a deranged suspect is in custody in Hamilton Ontario on insanity charges.

Kenosha News reports Ed Dayton plans a new Hippodrome theatre to replace the Rhode opera house site. The 2000 seat modern venue will be financed by stock sales already surpassing $106,000 with promoters aiming to start within 30 days after a survey by city engineer B C Brennan. Ed Dayton leads stock disposal and notes participation by many of Kenosha’s wealthiest residents.
