German sailors executed by British in Ostend Zeebrugge raid
Fifteen German sailors were tried at Ostend in connection with the British naval operations that blocked Ostend and Zeebrugge harbors. Thirteen were executed and two given twenty years imprisonment. The executed were likely guards at Zeebrugge and Ostend during the raid. The element of surprise featured prominently in the operation.

He said the outfit is all set with Company D or E 419th Field Telegraph Battalion at Camp Morse Leon Springs. A letter from Will, with the linemen, described a splendid trip with hot weather and a planned arrival in San Antonio by Wednesday evening.

Aged Resident Dominic Hart Dies at Home on Sycamore Road

Percy Edward Terwilliger born September 20 1892 in DeKalb died at city hospital after two major operations. He served in the tank corps after passing the examination in Chicago.
