Jury Given the Mason Case at Two P. M. Today
After closing arguments the circuit court instructed the jury in the Mason case and the jurors retired to deliberate about two in the afternoon. By four o clock no verdict had been returned and citizens in Hinckley pressed for news. Mason, a farmer, was indicted on serious charges by a French girl of tender years. The docket also showed a foreclosure decree in Lord versus Leinnar for 563.62 and solicitor fees of 75.00, a partition report in Wolf versus Trenholm, a sale decree in Seeber versus Seeber with 150.00 solicitor fees, and a new partition suit by Olmstead and Ett against Wittie et al involving part of Hantee addition to Sandwich. The court adjourned as proceedings continued.

Aeronaut Lieut Coney Severely Injured in Crash
Natchez Miss March 26 Lieut William D Coney, cross continental aviator, was seriously injured in a fall near Crowville Louisiana yesterday and brought to Natchez for hospital care. X rays show a spinal fracture between the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebrae and multiple minor injuries. Doctors say survival may leave him an invalid and paralyzed below the waist. He remained conscious and spoke of his flight, stating he will complete the Atlantic to Pacific journey if death or permanent injury does not stop him. His mother is en route from Florida.
