A Michigan Central equipment train crashed into a Hagenbeck Wallace circus train near Ivanhoe Indiana at daylight. At least 46 were killed and more than 100 injured as cars derailed and fire followed. Hospitals in nearby towns treated the wounded while Chicago doctors aided at the scene.

DeKalb residents are expected to attend a July 4 godspeed carnival at Camp Grant Rockford. Auto Mishap Injures Hallgren Family Near Cortland
