Sycamore, Carmi Jordan’s automobile was stolen Sunday evening while he and his family attended a high school graduation sermon at the Methodist church. More than fifty cars were parked nearby. The car was found Monday two miles west of the city near the state road, abandoned but undamaged. It was towed to a garage and returned to the owner by noon. No suspects have been identified.

United Press reports a rear end collision near Schenectady New York between an express and an accommodation train. Thirteen people died and thirty two were injured as cars telescoped while passengers slept. Among the dead were Emma Kraus and her ten month old decapitated infant and a ten year old boy.
