Eclipse to darken DeKalb Saturday afternoon

Death Takes Second Member in a Month in Clinton
Edwin Peterson of Clinton Iowa died leaving a wife and children. He was the brother of Mrs Fred Peterson formerly of DeKalb and had been in Colorado for his health. He followed his sister Stella who died less than a month earlier. He is survived by parents and several siblings and was known to many in DeKalb.

Navy Veteran Vernon Boardman Plans Reenlistment After Home Visit

Trains Plague North Western After Tama Dam Break

DeKalb music lovers welcomed the return of open air concerts as the DeKalb Military Band under Zeigner Swanson performed its first appearance.
