James M. Sivwright born March 1 1838 in Windsor Nova Scotia came to Illinois with his parents in 1848. He lived in Mayfield Township before moving to this city in the last three years. He married Sarah Ann Drake on March 13 1862 and had two daughters Flora Collier and Harriet Wallison. He died after a long illness of about nine years, survived by widow and daughters.

Ray Stultz a 19 year old resident of Oregon Illinois was wounded by a accidental gunshot from a .32 caliber revolver in the hands of his brother Frank.
