Widowed Swedish immigrant dies after hip injury at 87
August Johnson 87 longtime city resident died last night after a four week illness from a broken hip sustained when he fell on the sidewalk near his home. Funeral 2:30 Sunday from 122 North Eleventh Street with burial in Fairview cemetery. He was born in Varmland Sweden December 8 1839 and came to the United States in 1881.
