George W Dunton a leading Sycamore banker and former Belvidere lawyer died Saturday night at his home in Sycamore of heart failure. He was president of the Sycamore National Bank and had practiced law in DeKalb County before retiring in 1907. He leaves a widow Lavine and two daughters Martha and Mary. A prominent community figure, his death closes a chapter in Sycamore’s early professional life.
