Local man Lundstrom dies of pneumonia in Rockford
John F. Lundstrom of 402 South Gardner avenue died yesterday afternoon at 5 at his home after a ten day illness with pneumonia. He was born in Sweden February 4 1852 and had lived in Rockford 20 years. Survived by widow Johansen Lundstrom three sons Adolph EB Lundstrom Martin Lundstrom and William L Lundstrom. three daughters Marie Louise Hannah Amelia Lundstrom and Edith Kreischbaum. brother J W Lundstrom and half sister Mrs Ed Lindell both of DeKalb. sister Mrs A Scott of Rockford. A son Anthony Lundstrom predeceased him. Funeral plans await word from out of town relatives.

American troops to begin homeward pull in 1919 orders
Paris Feb 25 United States General Pershing issued general orders detailing when American divisions will begin to return from France. Regular army divisions will be excluded except when transport or military needs allow. Unassigned combat troops and support units will go home in order of service with available shipping projected for March May and June.
