Bellville Alabama February 23 United Press reports George W Beatty of Bellville and Otto Klingenfuss of Mascoutah were shot by TW James Beatty during a stockholders meeting of Beatty Coal Company at Mascoutah yesterday and died last night. Dr Beatty held in jail declined to comment. A Beatty brother says the quarrel began over allowing stockholders to take coal for personal use below market price and that Beatty acted in self defense.
