Woman is Smothered in Genoa Tragedy
Mrs. Joseph Gallagher, longtime Genoa resident, was found dead at her home from smothering. Her husband, returning at noon, pried open a locked door after finding the home empty and discovered her body with her head buried in a pillow. Dr. E M Byers ruled death accidental from smothering, death believed to have occurred between 9 30 and 10 this morning as she fainted and fell across the bed. She leaves husband Joseph Gallagher and four Awe sisters plus her father Ben Awe. Coroner stated no report yet.
