Funeral Rites Held for Former DeKalb Resident Alfred Johnson
Funeral services for Alfred John Johnson, a former DeKalb resident who died in Chicago, were held this afternoon at 2 o clock from the Harry Nelson chapel. Rev C B Upson of St Pauls Episcopal Church conducted the service. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. Johnson lived in DeKalb for many years on West Lincoln Highway before moving to Chicago in 1925 after Mrs Johnson’s death.

Omalu Neb Mel 21 Two boys aged 11 and 9 rescued their bedridden mother from a fire at their home in the early hours.
