The De Kalb Baptist Development Program Committee announced the opening of headquarters in the New Kennedy building. First Baptist Church has added a remodel of The auditorium a new religious education addition a pipe organ and a well equipped kitchen and church office. About 70000 dollars was spent for these improvements and a fifty thousand dollar drive will begin the week of March 21 to raise funds to clear indebtedness and extend church departments. Justice Floyd Thompson spoke at last night's service on Our Civic Responsibilities before a 500 strong audience.
