The sixth annual Izaak Walton League state convention will gather in Aurora Kane County February 21 22 and 23 with about three hundred delegates from every Illinois chapter. Urbana, Feb 20. The state geological survey will issue a report by F T Thwaites on Stratigraphy and geological structure of northern Illinois with special reference to underground water supplies. It details rock layers pierced by deep drilling, includes a Dresbach sandstone based structure map, and logs of wells with a correlative table of geologic names in Illinois and adjacent states. The study covers outcrops in Wisconsin and extends to Kankakee, Streator, Galva and Aledo.
