Paris Feb 20 United Press reports Jemier Clemenceau was shot in the lung with a bullet, causing a minor hemorrhage. The premier remains in satisfactory condition, with X rays progressing normally. A Russian library discussion surfaced, linking a conspiracy to disdising Russian soldiers in French uniforms. Emil otin, the assassin, may be tried military or civil.

Little Girl Fatally Crushed at Rochelle Crossing
Virginia Kittler, 14, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Kittler of Rochelle, was severely injured last night when she stepped into the path of a Burlington freight train at the Ninth street crossing at 7:09. One leg was severed and the other badly injured, likely requiring amputation. A second girl escaped with minor injuries. Virginia was taken to Lincoln hospital where surgeons treated her injuries. The Kittler family is well known in DeKalb County.

Roy Judd Arrives at Quantico From the Marines
Private Roy Judd of the UT Marines arrived at Quantico Virginia bringing relief to his parents Elmer and a wide circle of relatives and friends. He enlisted June 2 1917 and served a year eight months including a year in France. He was shell shocked and gassed exactly one year after enlisting and has been in seven hospitals. His twin brother Lieutenant Ralph Judd serves in Germany.
