This morning the 7:40 eastbound passenger train ran about an hour late and left a passenger in the depot grill room after ordering breakfast. He boarded at Seventh Street as the train pulled away. A colored porter, dining elsewhere, learned at the station the train had departed and sent word to the crew to follow on the Sterling passenger.
