The Merchants Division voted to discontinue the Golden Rule sales after the March 2 event. At the February 11 meeting turnout was strong and multiple committees reported progress. New Signs Placed At Intersections To Warn U Turns

Pinedo Delays Trans Atlantic Flight Over Weather
In Rome Col Francesco De Pinedo postponed his planned non stop south Atlantic flight from Africa to Brazil due to bad weather. He had spent the morning preparing his Savoia hydroplane after engine trouble prevented takeoff. The route would have covered 25 000 miles via South America the United States and Canada returning to Italy.
