On Sunday night a Rochelle man driving a Ford, and Perry McCollough of this city in a Studebaker, collided three miles east of Creston on the West Lincoln Highway. The Rochelle car suffered about $100 in damage to front fenders lights and wheels. McCollough’s car had minor damage to the rear tire carrier and spare. No injuries were reported.

Mrs Louise Von Ohlen Dies at Leland Rites Held
Funeral services for Mrs Louise Von Ohlen pioneer resident of Leland were held Sunday at two o'clock from the home with Rev Ross officiating. Burial followed in Wesson cemetery beside her husband. Born in Germany August 30 1839 she came to the United States in 1860 and married Christian Von Ohlen in 1861. She leaves five children Christian Annie Franz Juliana and Ernest with one son having died in infancy. husband died in 1914. She had been ill for two years and was admired for her pleasing personality.
