Murder at St Charles as 17 year old is arrested
Frank Gossett a 17 year old trusty at the State Training School for Boys in St Charles Illinois is in custody for the attack on Mrs Jessie Lovelett house mother of Cottage 4 at the St Charles Reformatory for Boys. She died from injuries after being struck with an iron bar and a poker. Gossett confessed to the police in Elgin and was sent to Kane County grand jury. The motive appears linked to a robbery.
