At about 30, he oversees 14 employees, running a dine and dance venue valued around 400 000 dollars that seats up to 1 000 patrons. His brother Boo Lee leads Wing Tank Gene, a Chicago grocery importing firm.
Funeral services were held for Katherine E. Putnam of Aurora sister of Charles E. Putnam of this city following a lingering illness. She died Saturday evening at St. Charles hospital Aurora and had resided there for years. Survived by brothers John Neligh Neb Charles E of this city and Fred of Aurora and one niece Mildred Putnam Martin of Aurora. Service at Healy chapel conducted by Rev I S Yeaworth. Burial in Spring Lake cemetery at Aurora.
Springfield reports two more indictments in a drive against liquor law violators naming the Corn Products Refining Company Fleischmann Yeast Company Hubinger Company and J W Hublinger Company of Keokuk Iowa along with Cordera Brothers trucking firm. Prosecutor Provine says sixteen more suppressed indictments name other national firms.
