Man Wanted In East As Slayer Found At Dixon
Jacobicci, 35, alleged murderer of a Beaver County section worker on an eastern railroad, was arrested Friday at Nelson near Dixon by Sheriff Ward Miller. He reportedly admitted the killing, claimed self defense, and said both men were armed when the incident occurred November 24, 1928. Police described the arrest after a nationwide search and said officers would bring him to the crime scene.

Girl Makes New Endurance Flight Record for Women
Los Angeles February 11 U P reported high school pupil Bobby Trout aged eighteen or nineteen set a new endurance record for women flyers. She surpassed the previous thirteen hours sixteen minutes forty five seconds by one hour at 7 27 30 a m Pacific Coast Time after equalling the old mark at 6 27 30 am. Trout also broke the night flying record by guiding her plane for about twelve hours. Her mother Lula Trout watched from Mines Field and expressed relief and pride as the record was surpassed.

Services for Mrs. Arnold Reeves, a former DeKalb resident and sister of Postmaster Thomas Olsen, were held Saturday at the Congregational church with Rev. G A Rowles presiding. Burial followed at Fairview cemetery. She died Wednesday evening at the Chicago Fresh Air hospital after illness since last fall. Mrs. Reeves had left DeKalb during World War I to work in photography in Waukegan, where she was married about seven years ago.
