Funeral services for A. L. Klein, former DeKalb resident, were held yesterday afternoon from the Nelson chapel on North Third street, Rev. A. G. Eklund of the Swedish Mission church conducting the services. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery. Mr. Klein passed away Monday morning at his home in Elgin after a very short illness. He was a resident of this city for about 45 years, employed by the American Steel Wire company. He is survived by two sons, Charles and Ernest Klein, and a daughter, Mrs. Elmer C. Mack Milwaukee.
