S L Huggins presiding judge says no iron clad rule fits all industries and each case must govern. The court states capital investing in essential industries bears an obligation to the public and must accept reasonable concessions to protect public rights.
President elect Woodrow Wilson and President Warren G. Harding will lunch together at the White House following the formal inauguration on March 4. Tumulty announced plans for Wilson to move into his new home after the meal and to ride with Harding through the Capitol.
United Press reports a 22 percent wage reduction by the Wind sor Print Wars, a branch of the Consolidated Textile company in North Adams Massachusetts. The reduction takes effect January 3. Ruth Thiel is ill and absent from Olsten and Norby’s.

Washington December 22 United Press reports that Attorney General Palmer faced a senate investigating committee and possible prosecution of government officials accused of profiting in coal dealings. George Cushing of the American Wholesale Coal Association testified that government employees and a group unnamed sold coal through a pool to about 600 wholesale dealers.
A 32 day manhunt for Clara Smith Hamon, sought on murder charges in the death of Jake L. Hamon, may conclude late today as she surrenders to Sheriff Garrett near the international border close to El Paso. Lawyer James A. Mathers is retained to defend her as authorities plan to bring her to El Paso for trial.
New York stocks fell again today with early gains erased and several issues posting new low records. The market continued its downturn following yesterday's losses, signaling renewed weakness in trading.
