Mrs W J Kreast received a letter from her sister in law Mrs Agia Spaermaas recounting a robbery attempt while en route home Sunday evening. She was driving a Busby bus at 45 mph when two men stepped onto the cement road and flashed lights from in front. The foggy night atmosphere and close proximity of the men prompted the near collision and escape. The Danes relatives of Mrs Neast say the incident was too close for comfort.
Edward B. McLean of Washington will chair the inauguration rural committee for President Harding's March 4 ceremony. An executive committee was named with Ward F. Collebs y Samuel K Prescott Fred Upham and Jess Smith as members.
Milwaukee report shows the Steamer Alabama overdue at Muskegon Michigan due to a severe lake storm. The vessel steadied to port and reached safety early today.
